5 Year Plan - Road Reconstruction

5 Year Plan - Road Reconstruction

During the budget process, Council approves a five year plan for the reconstruction and replacement of roads, sewers and water infrastructure.  The plan is reviewed and updated annually by Council.
Road work is co-ordinated with the need to replace water and sanitary sewers to ensure that new roads are not dug up to carry out underground work.
Five year plans allow Council to forecast future expenditures and provide guidance to property owners as to the scheduling of future work.
