Blue Flag Awarded Again!

We're happy to announce that Port Stanley's Main Beach has been awarded by Swim Drink Fish Canada the Blue Flag again! This is the 13th year of this honorable award!

The Blue Flag is the world's most recognized awards for eco-friendly beaches and marinas. Blue Flag beaches must meet 33 criteria across 4 categories:

1. Water Quality
2. Environmental Management
3. Environmental Education and Information
4. Safety and Services

This flag symbolizes that our beach is clean, sustainably managed, and meets high safety standards. It is truly a symbol of excellence.

The Blue Flag is administered in Canada by Swim Drink Fish and is managed internationally by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE).

We want to thank everyone from our Parks & Recreational and Beach Rescue teams, to our beach visitors and many more, for keeping our beach to this standard!
