Skating
Enjoy public skating at Central Elgin’s arena facilities throughout the winter season. The ice season typically runs from late September to the end of March. Belmont Arena and Port Stanley Arena also host a variety of skating opportunities, including hockey programming, figure skating and learn-to-skate programs offered by local community organizations.

- 75' x 175' ice surface
- Multi-purpose single pad ice arena equipped with 6 dressing rooms
- Auditorium for various events (Capacity: 200 seating)
- Bleacher seating with capacity of 500

Port Stanley Arena & Community Centre

- 80' x 180' ice surface
- Multi-purpose single pad ice arena equipped with 6 dressing rooms
- Auditorium for various events (Capacity: 290 seating)
- Bleacher seating with capacity of 780
Port Stanley Arena Public Skating Hours & Dates
Public skating dates and hours will be confirmed closer to ice season.
- Skaters under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not permitted on the ice surface
- Playing tag, speed skating, or reckless skating will not be allowed
- All skaters must skate in the same direction and will not be allowed to skate in a group with three or more skaters holding hands in a line
- An adult must accompany preschoolers
- Food and drink are prohibited on the ice surface
- There will be no stopping or gathering near sideboards or blocking entrance areas to the ice surface
- No throwing snow or any other substance while in the arena
- No three wheel strollers allowed on the ice
- All skaters 17 and under must wear a helmet
