Traffic Calming & Road Safety

New traffic calming measures are being installed at locations across Central Elgin as part of the Municipality's 2026 Traffic Calming Pilot Program.

The pilot includes a variety of speed management and traffic calming measures designed to encourage safer driving behaviours, help manage vehicle speeds, and improve road safety for everyone.

Fire Ban Lifted

With air quality conditions improving, the open-air burning ban has been lifted.

Thank you to residents for your cooperation during the fire ban. Your efforts helped protect our community during the period of poor air quality.
