Special Weather Statement in effect for:

• St. Thomas - Aylmer - Eastern Elgin County

Significant rainfall and mild temperatures expected Wednesday.

What: Rainfall amounts of 10 to 20 mm.

When: Tuesday night and Wednesday.

Additional information: Rain with isolated thunderstorms will impact southern Ontario on Wednesday. This rainfall, combined with melting snow and the limited ability of the frozen ground to absorb the rain may lead to localized flooding in low lying areas and water pooling on roads.
