Municipality of Central Elgin Secures Historic Settlement for Boundary Adjustment Compensation

MUNICIPALITY OF CENTRAL ELGIN – Andrew Sloan, Mayor, Municipality of Central Elgin, is pleased to share that the Municipality has settled its compensation negotiations with the City of St. Thomas in relation to the municipal boundary adjustment brought about by Bill 63, St.

Sincere thanks to all who contributed their time and ideas to the 2024 Budget Survey. Your valuable input has been carefully considered by the Budget Committee and Treasurer as part of their efforts to prepare the draft 2024 Budget.

The Port Stanley Harbour Dredging Operations have started!

The dredging will start at the mouth of the Harbour and at the lighthouse, extending upstream to the King George VI Lift Bridge. The dredged material will be loaded onto bottom dump scows and deposited east of Port Stanley Harbour in the lake.
