Oh we're not done yet! We cannot wrap up National Public Works Week without thanking our 6 dedicated Water and Wastewater Operators for being the definition of Ready and Resilient!
It takes a lot of work to get water from natural sources into our taps. Similarly, it is a complicated process to convert the wastewater in our drains and sewers into a form that is safe to release into the environment.
Our treatment plants and systems clean water for consumption and other purposes 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our operators are dedicated workers who never give up, even under the pressures they've faced over the past two years. Thank you for being Ready and Resilient to all the elements you faced and still face. We couldn't function without this incredible team.
