  • $425,000 OTF Grant Gives Belmont Arena a Lift

    December 8, 2023

    Belmont, ON – On Friday, local MPP Rob Flack met with the representatives of the Municipality of Central Elgin to hear more about the $425,000 Community Building Fund grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) that was used to add an accessible elevator and other upgrades to the Belmont Community Centre and Arena. The Belmont Arena elevator upgrade project was completed in July 2023.

    MUNICIPALITY OF CENTRAL ELGIN, November 14, 2023 – Yesterday, Enbridge Gas Inc. (Enbridge Gas), the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council (FMPFSC) and Central Elgin Fire Rescue Services announced they are working together to improve home safety and bring fire and carbon monoxide-related deaths down to zero.

    Port Stanley Harbour Dredging - FAQ

    The Port Stanley Harbour Dredging Operations have started!

    The dredging will start at the mouth of the Harbour and at the lighthouse, extending upstream to the King George VI Lift Bridge. The dredged material will be loaded onto bottom dump scows and deposited east of Port Stanley Harbour in the lake.
