A big welcome back to our minor hockey teams, men’s and women’s leagues, figure skaters, and everyone lacing up this year.
Central Elgin Council has approved funding for seven local projects and initiatives through the Community Grant and Sponsorship Program, providing a total of $26,261 in support across the municipality.
Launched in July, the Community Grant and Sponsorship Program was a pilot initiative for 2025 created to provide financial and in-kind support to local community groups and not-for-profit organizations.
Planning services are now delivered directly by the Municipality of Central Elgin. Going forward, all planning-related inquiries and applications can be directed to us — we’re here to help.

The Blue Flag is a globally recognized eco-certification awarded by the Foundation for Environmental Education and administered in Canada by Swim Drink Fish.
