NOTICE OF EXEMPTION
REGULATION 555/06 of the HIGHWAY TRAFFIC ACT
This notice is issued pursuant to section 3(1)(4) of the Ontario Regulations 555/06 to the Highway Traffic Act which allows for the following exemptions:

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO DESIGNATE A PROPERTY UNDER THE ONTARIO HERITAGE ACT

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Central Elgin intends to designate the above noted property as a property of cultural heritage value or interest pursuant to section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.
The Municipality of Central Elgin announces the departure of its Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Carey Herd, who has accepted the role of Chief Administrative Officer with the City of Vernon, British Columbia.
“While Carey’s departure is disappointing, we benefitted enormously from the innovative and authentic leadership she brought to the Municipality,” said Mayor Andrew Sloan.
As colder temperatures approach, Central Elgin’s maintenance crews have been hard at work preparing for the season. Snowplows and winter equipment have been serviced and tuned to ensure they’re ready for action.
