Reduced Load Season Remains Until April 30, 2023

In accordance with the Highway Traffic Act and By-law 2454, reduced load restrictions are placed on trucks to protect roads during the spring thaw, when road damage is most likely to happen. Notice Regarding Noise Exemption

Regarding Harbour Dredging

NOTICE is hereby given that Council of the Municipality of Central Elgin has granted an exemption to By-law No. 212, being a By-law to control noise in the Municipality of Central Elgin to complete a 24 hour dredging project, that will be taking place between July 1, 2023 and January 1, 2024.

The main purpose is to allow for 24 hour construction practices for the purpose of dredging the Port Stanley Harbour....
