Please be advised that on May 30, 2022, we will be flushing sewer mains across the village of Port Stanley to remove grit, sand, gravel, and greases. This is a preventative maintenance procedure that aids in the prevention of sewage blockages, odour generation, and premature wear on mechanical components.

During this National Public Works Week, we'd like to thank our diligent Waste Management crew, for all they do throughout the year.
This small team of 3 ensures that every resident in Central Elgin has their garbage and recycling collected every week, regardless of the weather. They also run a Leaf and Yard Waste program twice a year in addition to their regular collection routes.
